She was the daughter of the late James Pleasant & Fetney Evans Beaty, and wife of the late Bill Byers. She is survived by a daughter, Faye Wallace (the late Bobby Wallace) and a son, Billy (Debbie) Wallace, and five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
