Amanda "Mandy" Stonecipher Matthews

Amanda "Mandy" Stonecipher Matthews was born on November 22, 1974 in Muncie, Indiana. She departed this life Saturday, July 13, reaching the age of 49 years. She was the daughter of Jack and Wanda (Rains) Stonecipher.

She was united in marriage to Barry Matthews on August 3, 2011 and to this union one daughter was born.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: her husband, Barry Matthews; her daughter, Sophia Rose Matthews; her sister, Rhonda (Greg) Dalton; her niece, Gabriele (Granite) Pare; her nephew, Gage Gregory; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

Mandy graduated from Clinton County High School in 1992. During her time at Clinton County she was involved in band and won many beauty pageants in her hometown. She went on to the University of Kentucky where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Radiology.

Along with her family Mandy became a part of Mountain View Golf Course and D and S Poultry Farms. After the closing of the golf course she continued working at D & S Poultry Farms until her passing.

Mandy enjoyed supporting her daughter, Sophia, in the many sports and organizations that she was involved in. She enjoyed traveling to the beach with her husband and daughter and surrounding herself with loving friends and family.

Mandy was a member of Duvall Valley Pentecostal Church.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
