Danny Pierson Groce

He was the son of the late Walter and Jewell Byrd Groce.

Also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ralph Groce and Hugh Groce.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.

He was a local barber for 52 years.

He was a member and Deacon at Albany First Baptist Church.

His survivors include:

1 daughter,  Myra Groce

1 son,  Daniel Groce (Katrina Mason)

2 sisters,  Linda Craig; Linnie (Dale) Claywell

2 brothers,  Larry (Joyce) Groce; Cecil (Edna) Groce

2 sister-in-laws,  Polly Groce; Barbara Groce

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donation to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or in donation to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
