Ernest Ray Guffey, age 80,of Albany passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
He was the son of the late Wilburn and Delcie Guffey.
He was the husband of the late Anna Lois Guffey.
He was also preceded in death by 1 son, James Guffey,
1 brother, Gene Guffey, and 1 sister, Pauline Sexton.
He served as a police officer for over 40 years.
He is survived by 2 sons, Danny Guffey (JJ Russell) and David (Jona) Guffey,
1 brother, Carl Guffey,
and special friend, Margie Shelton.
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
