Jay G. Stockton

Jay G. Stockton, age 74, of Albany passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was the son of the late Robert Prentis and Mary Martha Stockton. He was the husband of the late Mary Faye Stockton. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Earl D. Stockton, James H. Stockton, and Velera Stockton.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Lacey Jay Stockton; 1 son, Bryant Stockton (Jo Morris); 1 sister, Edna Sells; 5 grandchildren, Chloe Stockton, James (Brittney) Stockton, Richard (Misty) Stockton, Faith Stockton, and Devin (Chiara) Stockton; and 1 great-grandchild, Jackson Stockton.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
