Jerry Lynn DeRossett

Jerry Lynn DeRossett, age 63, of Albany passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was the son of the late Melvin and Golda DeRossett. He was also preceded in death by a step-son, Bennie Wayne Bowman; a brother-in-law, Hobert Walker; and a brother, Danny DeRossett.

He is survived by his wife, Sharyn DeRossett; a son, Jerrad (Jamie) DeRossett of Bowling Green; a step-son, Jimmy Poynter of Albany; step-daughters, Sherry Bowman of Cincinnati and Nora Bowman of London; siblings, Lloyd (Ann) DeRossett of Science Hill, Gail (Larry) Ferguson of Albany, Patsy Walker of Byrdstown, Johnny Ruben (Donna) DeRossett of Albany, Carol (Kim) Denney of Albany, and Janet (Dale) Gibson of Albany; and a grandson who was raised by Jerry, Eddie Bowman. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Walnut Grove Church. He retired from Rumpke Trash Company in Cincinnati.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to Walnut Grove Cemetery Fund.

Burial will be in Walnut Grove.
