He was the son of the late Jonathan & Effie Pickens. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Pickens and his two sons Tim and wife Paula Pickens and Ricky Pickens
He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
