Lucille Bandy Bell, aged 90, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 at The Heritage in Corbin, KY. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Lucille was born on April 2, 1933 in Albany, KY., where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Five Springs Methodist Church. She spent most of her life being a housewife but also spent a few years serving as a waitress. But, more than anything, she was a devoted mother, especially caring for her son, Mickey, for the last 54 years.
Lucille is survived by her sons, Tim and Mickey Bell. Also, surviving are her grandsons, Todd, Cory (Carla) and Tanner Bell, granddaughters, Tori (Jason) Perkins and Taylor (Braxton) Dick and great-grandchildren Clayton and Caden Bell, Jett and Indy Perkins, and Briggs Dick.
Lucille was pre-deceased by her husband, Rual and her son, Steve.
Visitation for Lucille Bandy Bell will be at Talbott Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20th from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M., with a short service at 4:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest at the Memorial Hill Cemetery, beside her late husband.
