He was a retired maintenance employee with the US Army Corps of Engineers, a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of Pikeview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sue Parrigin, 2 daughters, Margaret & husband Rick Norris, and Allison & husband Mark Thrasher, 2 sons, Bro. Dennis & wife Judy Parrigin, and Doug & wife Carol Parrigin. 10 Grandchildren. 6 Great-grandchildren, 1 Step-grandchild, and 3 Step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Antha Melton Parrigin, 1 son, Tony Parrigin, and 2 sisters, Vida Cummings, and Lucille Asberry, and 4 brothers: J.C. Parrigin, Clifton Parrigin, Clayton Parrigin, & William Cyrus Parrigin.
